Humans of the Kitchen

After years of working in the kitchen and being inspired by the books and TV shows of Anthony Bourdain, Beto created Humans Of The Kitchen. A storytelling photojournalists project with a focus on the untold stories of the men and women that make up the backbone of the culinary industry. A project that has become a global culinary community that produces events and culinary-based docuseries.

Counter Pop Up

A two-year research pasta pop-up and consulting for a soon-to-be restaurant opening in Paris, testing more than 25 kinds of pasta and traveling a few times to Italy, creating unique recipes and inviting guests to join us for a unique counter fresh pasta experience in Miami Beach.

Oak GArden

Oak Garden was an Outdoor Music Venue and street food market. Beto helped with the branding and conceptualization of the concept, organizing and creating some of the best events in Miami during 2020-2021, launching its podcast, and offering a unique space for the city’s arts community.

The OG Miami Podcast

The OG MIAMI PODCAST is a podcast where we honor the people that have witnessed and participated in shaping the city we all know and love. Beto was the Co-producer of the show where he proposed the location, team, and some of the influential guests that have participated in the podcast. Currently, the podcast is in pre-seed funding.

Recipes for Change

Member and collaborator of Recipes for Change, a non-profit organization that used the power of food to help the community in need working along with Camilus House creating a pop-up soup kitchen with the best chefs of the city. Generating donations from different organizations and creating a space of joy for the community.

Chefstashed

Partner and part of the conceptualization of ChefStashed, a subscription box launched during the pandemic that aimed to bring home some of the secret recipes of the best chefs in town! We launched more than six boxes and boosted collaborations between chefs, creating new business for restaurants and chefs during a hard time.

South Beach

South Beach Group is a hospitality company that manages 13+ boutique hotels in Miami beach. Beto was part of the marketing department and was in charge of the new experiences project. The main idea was to bring different and unique experiences across the various properties, offer guests special activities and boost the overall experience.

Ocean Detox

A movement born from Rueda Miami that reunited entrepreneurs and artists from different mediums to paddle and kayak around the islands of Miami, picking up trash to then be reused and sold as art. Ocean Detox inspired other organizations to continue with the effort.

Miami Paradise Pass

Travel, experiences, and events platform for local activities in Miami. A place where people depending on their taste and preference will receive different recommendations and a list or itinerary for a personal experience. Even though Paradise is not operating today, people still ask for recommendations.

Rueda Miami

A social and artistic experiment aimed to unite local artists by creating events and activations to send a social and environmental message! Rueda was part of Art Basel 2016, taking over a full warehouse and creating activations for three days straight. Rueda Miami planted a seed in the art community, boosting several collaborations between artists.

Overnight Group

Partner of Overnight Group an event and entertainment planning company that used to create different events and activities in Hotels and other venues, working with brands like Shore Club, Fontainebleau, Surfcomber, Resorts World Bimini, etc.

Shake That

A Sustainable pop-up milkshake bar in Downtown Miami, found a creative way to reduce waste by using discarded fruit from smoothies to create one-of-a-kind shakes. By partnering and setting up shop inside the cafe during afternoons, the pop-up drew in new customers and generated additional business for the venue.
